Lois Hall and Tim Godman represented Herts Bowling Club in the Mixed Pairs in the London & Southern Counties Bowling Association tournament. They beat 2 Mixed teams from  Bounds Green 25-8 and 22-10, then Huntingdon 18-12, then Crawley (Gratton) 19-17 before winning 18-9 against Loddon Vale on the Finals Day at Desborough Bowling Club on

Herts ladies led the way in winning 3 titles at Hertfordshire indoor finals at Woodside on March 9th 2025. The Herts Bowls Club Gala Day held on 8th February was a very successful event, bringing together bowlers from various clubs and creating a wonderful atmosphere of friendly competition, camaraderie, and community spirit. Over 70 bowlers participated in the gala day, representing clubs from across the district. The event attracted participants of all skill levels

The Herts ladies had another magnificent win in the National Top Club competition. They beat a very strong team from Upminster Essex and are now off to Leamington Spa where they join 7 other teams from across England in the quarter finals. It was a hard-fought match but they won 3-1 across the 4 rinks.

I am very pleased to announce that the National Lottery have awarded us a grant which covers the whole cost of turning the carpet. The project includes replacing all the underlay and stitching the carpet after turning. The work will take a week and is scheduled to commence on Monday 12th August. When complete the
