I am very pleased to announce that the National Lottery have awarded us a grant which covers the whole cost of turning the carpet.

The project includes replacing all the underlay and stitching the carpet after turning. The work will take a week and is scheduled to commence on Monday 12^th August.

When complete the company has suggested that the green will run faster and should be good for at least 8 years.

I would like to thank Sara Smart for all her hard work in securing this grant especially after our initial application had been turned down.

The board and our committees all work very hard to ensure that the club has a viable future but it is not always obvious to the membership what happens behind the scenes.  

We are always looking for our members to help us make Herts the club we are proud to belong to and to thrive in the coming years.
