Our Herts Ladies made the trip to Leamington Spa this week for the Bowls England National Finals, arriving as one of just 16 teams in the entire country to have battled their way through the earlier rounds and earn a place on the national stage. It’s a tremendous achievement in itself and reflects the quality, commitment and teamwork shown throughout the season.
In a closely fought match, the team were edged out by a narrow margin, bringing their Top Club campaign to an end earlier than hoped. Although they didn’t progress further, they represented the club with pride, determination and real competitive spirit.
Reaching the last 16 in England is something every player should feel proud of. The club is delighted with their efforts and the way they carried themselves at the finals.
