Our Committees
Meet the volunteers who run Herts Bowling Club
Herts Bowling Club is a member-owned club, incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. Responsibility for running the club is delegated by the Board to a series of committees — Outdoor and Indoor — each looking after their section day to day. Every role on this page, from the Board down, is filled by volunteers giving their time for the benefit of fellow members.

Chairman
Chairs Board Meetings and delegates tasks to the Directors.
Tony Thompson
Company Secretary
Responsible for arranging meetings, general administration, reporting to Companies House, Insurance, etc.
Roger Stuchfield
Treasurer
Producing Financial Statements, liaising with Accountants and overseeing general purchases.
Neil Roberts
Director
Providing services to the Board.
Antony Bailey
Director
Providing services to the Board.
Sara Smart
Director
Sourcing sponsors, making sure the correct procedures are kept.
Jo Sculley
Outdoor Chair
Reports on the Outdoor Section.
Dave Airey
Indoor Chairman
Reports on the Indoor Section.
Alison Hurst
Administration Manager.
Works in the office five mornings a week in the indoor season and three mornings a week during the outdoor season.

SafeGuarding Officer
First point of contact for safeguarding matters at the club
Outdoor Committee
Jo Sculley
Chairlady
Heads up the Committee, delegates tasks to Committee Members, oversees development progress and works closely with the Committee. Represents the Outdoor Committee on the Board.
Carly Bishop
Secretary
Responsible for all administration with regard to the Outdoor section. Collate and remit all County & W&D competition entries. Attend all County and W&D meetings and report back. Minutes of meetings.
Malcolm Mackriell
Treasurer
Responsible for keeping track of all outdoor funds and producing a report for meetings.
Martin Coles
Men's Captain
Responsible for taking the Men's games, selecting the friendly games and also the W&D and County games.
Jackie Wright
Ladies Co-ordinator
Co-ordinates the Ladies leagues, competitions, friendlies and attends the Outdoor Committee meetings.
Antony Bailey
Competitions
Arranges and oversees all internal competitions. Presents the trophies on Presentation Night.
Malcolm Mackriell
Green Liaison
Looks after the outdoor green and liaises with the Groundman. Keeps the machines in working order and delegates tasks in relation to the green.
Jackie Wright
Fixtures
Collates and communicates the Outdoor Fixtures with other Clubs and produces a fixture card.

Indoor Committee
